IOSH Managing Safely This course is intended for candidates across all industry sectors that are required to manage H & S as an essential part of their line-management function. This training course has been designed by TBI & accredited by IOSH who set the syllabus upon which the programme is based. Five Days
IOSH Safety for Senior Executives This course is especially designed for the decision makers. This course is especially designed to provide the decision makers in the organisation with a clear understanding of their H & S duties & responsibilities & to ensure that these issues are given at least equal consideration in strategic management decision making & operational planning. One Day
IOSH Working Safely Applicable for all employees of an organisation. Working Safely is designed to train workers to contribute to the day-to-day health & safety of the workplace and to clearly understand their individual responsibilities. It includes the identification of hazards, evaluation of risk & the use of appropriate workplace precautions. One Day

Health & Safety at Work for Managers & Supervisors Managers & supervisors This training course is intended to give managers & supervisors an understanding & awareness of their individual duties & responsibilities & the important contribution they need to make to the day-to-day management of H & S within their own areas of control. One Day
Risk Assessment Practical Workshops
Applicable for all employees of an organisation. Intended to train employees to a standard that enables them to be considered competent to undertake risk assessments within their own workplaces. One Day
Manual Handling Safe Handling Techniques Applicable for all employees of an organisation. A short practical- training workshops for employees at all levels of an organisation to introduce the concept of lifelong individual back care & the need to invariably practice safe handling techniques both at work & away from work. 2 Hours
DSE Assessment / Safe Working with VDU's Applicable for all employees of an organisation. An introduction to the need for safe & healthy working practice with Display Screen Equipment, including self assessment for risks. 1 Hour
Stress Management for Managers and Supervisors Any one responsible for the management of people. Aimed at providing management with an appreciation of the concept of managing stress as part of the organisations overall risk assessment/risk management programme; Providing an understanding of how to recognise the symptoms of stress in yourself/others; Recognizing the benefits of pro-active policies that seek to reduce ill-health and how to design & implement stress reduction programmes; Half Day
Coping with Stress for All / Everyone Applicable for all employees of an organisation. A workshop for employees at all levels in an organisation with an appreciation of how stress is caused; ways of avoiding/relieving stressful situations; how to recognise when you are stressed and an understanding of how simple coping strategies will help you reduce or control personal stress levels. Half Day
Combined Stress Management/Coping with Stress Applicable for all employees of an organisation. A full day workshop which combines the two courses described above. One Day
Specialist Training Courses
Health and Safety Training for Representatives of Employee Safety (RoES) A training course designed especially for those elected or nominated to represent employee H & S in the workplace. The length of training can be "tailored" to suit the culture of the organisation e.g. dependent upon the representatives' degree of involvement with the company safety initiative & day-to-day management of health & safety issues. Optional - One day, Two or Three Days
Manual Handling: Training for Trainers Applicable for all employees of an organisation. A specialist training course aimed at producing competent advisers & manual handling trainers to provide at reasonably low-cost, in-house expertise & training for effecting compliance with the requirements of legislation in this area. Three Days
Permits to Work & Selection & Control of Contractors Managers & Employees. A specialist training course designed for Managers & Employees who deal with Contractors and/or control hazardous processes & work activities outside normal workplace controls. Half Day
Safe Working at Height Those who regularly work at height. A specialist training course designed for those who regularly work at height - in line with the new legislation on this subject. Half Day
Fire Safety Training (various aspects) Applicable for all employees of an organisation. Designed to provide employees with the knowledge & awareness required to ensure fire safety in the workplace, Fire Risk Assessment of Premises & Emergency Procedures. As Required

Environmental Awareness For managers & employees with environmental responsibilities. Designed for managers & employees with environmental responsibilities. As Required

Designed for organisations aspiring to implement management systems ranging from simple but effective local management systems to meet the requirements of legislation, up to & including OHSAS 18001 and/or ISO 14001 status & accreditation.
