Peter has a comprehensive knowledge of Operational Management and expertise in the application of Lean Techniques to industry. These techniques centre on reducing waste, tuning business processes and improving operational performance, and are applicable across all sectors of manufacturing and service industries.
He has been engaged in developing Lean applications since 1989.

His career has seen him delivering beneficial change at all operational levels both in the UK and US, and coupled with this, he is also experienced in managing and developing self directed work teams and empowered leaders.

During his career including periods at Allied Signal & Goodrich corporation he has worked in many business areas including: quality, materials management, supply chain development, production management, engineering and design.

Whilst with Goodrich, he was appointed Lean Manager for Europe and Asia and also served as interim Managing Director of their Basingstoke facility. This facility became the Lean bench mark site for Goodrich Landing Systems and as a result Peter was tasked with transferring the derived best practice to the US facility.

His career progressed following appointment as a consultant for the World Class Performance team within the Engineering Employers Federation where he further honed his Lean implementation expertise on many programmes including the Government funded SEEDA Lean programme.
